The Urological Diagnostic Center (CDU) was established in 1998 in the vibrant city of Manizales by five pioneering specialists in Urology. Since then, we have dedicated our mission to providing specialized services that enhance the health of our community, supported by a top-tier medical infrastructure.
Throughout our years of growth, CDU has distinguished itself in the field of healthcare through its commitment to technical and scientific excellence in all aspects of care. Duties
As a patient, you assume active participation in the fulfillment of the duties stipulated by the CDU to guarantee your safety and healthy coexistence. Your duties are: + Respect the dignity and privacy of other patients, family members, and the institution’s staff and resources. + Provide clear and complete information about your health status. + Assume responsibility for your health and compliance with your treatment plan by participating in your self-care. + Channel through the regular channel your desires, needs, and decisions related to the care process. + Cancel copayments, copayments, and fines when appropriate. + Sign the consent for the procedures that require it and leave a record if you do not want to receive treatment.
Biosecurity Policies
To maintain a safe environment, we ask that you wash your hands before starting your work day and after handling money or documents. When entering care areas, wear appropriate clothing and PPE. Handle documents carefully, avoiding contact with your mouth. Also, make sure doors and drawers are closed, and store sharp objects safely. Finally, to avoid fires, do not use candles in administrative areas. Thank you for your cooperation!
Non-Reuse Policies
At the CDU, the safety and health of our patients is our priority. Therefore, all single-use materials and equipment will be discarded after use. This includes gloves, syringes, catheters and other medical instruments. Reuse of disposable materials is strictly prohibited to prevent infection and ensure the highest quality of care.
