Pelvic floor rehabilitation is a specialized treatment to evaluate and treat various dysfunctions of the pelvic floor muscles. These may include urinary and/or fecal incontinence, perineal pain and pelvic prolapses, as well as sexual problems such as pain during sexual activity and vaginismus. This therapy is especially beneficial for women during postpartum and menopause, and for men after prostate surgeries, perineal injuries, and erectile dysfunction, among others.
At CDU, we use various advanced techniques in perineal rehabilitation, including electrotherapy, biofeedback, perineal massage, kinesiotherapy, and behavioral techniques. Many of these procedures are intracavitary and must be performed by physiotherapists specialized in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, who are trained to provide personalized and effective treatment.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life of our patients through a comprehensive and professional approach to pelvic floor rehabilitation. If you are experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction or would like more information about our perineal rehabilitation services, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to help you regain your well-being.
